Just a few shots of a very cool car I saw recently. Got to go for a drive in it. Very smooth and classy way to get around. Great example of beautiful motoring in fantastic condition.

Spotted: Toyota Corolla
The Toyota Corolla Coupe was an easy go-to car for speed in my youth. With just a warmed over 4K or 5K and side draft carburetor you could have a lot of fun. Having seen many with a Rotary conversion doing not much more than burnouts, the 5K would be my weapon of choice. Too much power is not necessarily a good thing in a car like this and would be limiting to it's driveability.

1929 Ford Rat Rod
Saw this parked outside a local dairy. Rat Rods aren't everyone's cup of tea - not always mine either - but this one is very cool and looked usable. Check out the little details I found interesting.

Old vs. New
I like the idea of old vs new. You need to compare things to a time when life was simpler and vehicle safety less of an issue. Have cars improved? Yes they have. For example they start, first time. They get more power with less fuel. But are they as fun and visceral to drive? Not by a long shot.
