I know this video is everywhere but, it's just too cool not too post as inspiration for whatever you might be building. Early 911's are cool. When I think of Porsche I think 911. Upright headlights and the slope of the rear of the car. This car is doable. Maybe the kevlar panels are not in everyones price range but the idea is sound and Porsches are getting cheaper. Or maybe choose another make you like and do something similar. Either way it would end up being cool and driven.

Classic BRE Datsun vs Alfa duel
I love Datsun 510's and I'm sure I have written before about my 13B powered 1600SS before. Watching this classic video and brought back some memories about why I like them so much. The film itself is very cool. From the beginning where John Morton heads off to work, to the smoking of cigarettes before the race, to the soothing tones of the narrator. This is well worth watching.

Bentley Continental GT3
Now here is how you make your return to motorsport. Beautiful. Bentley are investing a lot in this with a dedicated team. Awesome car. Can't wait to hear them in action. No that's not a typo. They are going to sound incredible. Look at the side exit pipes. Cool!

Lotus Elan Shooting Brake

I really like a good Shooting Brake. They are cars that not only look cool, and handle well, but are generally quick because of the car they are based on. Looking for some pics of a Lotus Elan I discovered not just one but two. Joy. They were built by a car dealer who saw a future market for them and were nicknamed the "Elanbulance". Unfortunately the market didn't eventuate so the cars are really rare. Read about an Elanbulance here and for the story of someone who had a Shooting Brake built for them click here.

1950 Chevrolet 3100C
Long time CAR137.com reader ZacP sent in these excellent pics of a 1950 Chevrolet 3100C he spotted on a recent visit to Queenstown. 3100C's were built under the Chevrolet Advance Design banner from 1947 until 1955 and in my opinion are one of the coolest trucks ever built. From rat rods to originals they can be modified, or not, to suit anyone's taste and will just go and go.
