The Islero was a good step up from the 400GT it followed. With better visibility, cabin space and with the S version 350 BHP it was an excellent car. Yes there were issues with panel fit, and it does seem a bit like an 'in-between' car, but if it was good enough for Ferruccio it's definitely good enough for me. In my opinion the Islero would be a great addition to any car collection because only 225 were built and apart form the panel fit were an excellent GT car.
Why did they only build 225 then? That was because of another Lamborghini grabbed the world's attention, the Miura.
