This is the car that is considered the world's first concept car, the Buick Y Job. Designed by Harley J. Earl, and built in 1938, the Y Job had power-operated hidden headlights and very cool flush door handles. What amazes me is that it had design cues that were carried on right into the 50's. Very ahead of it's time as all concepts should be.
