1971 Dodge Challenger

The Dodge Challenger was/is a brute of a car. The gruntiest of them had a 425 bhp (316.9 kW) 426 cu in (7 L) Hemi. That's a lot of motor and a lot of fuel. Unfortunately the 70's fuel crisis ended production for this awesome car. There were almost 166,000 of them built over the four years (1970-1974) they were produced so they fetch pretty good prices if you have a good one.

In the flesh these are a big car

  1. Go to the video shop and see if you can find a copy of "Vanishing Point" to see one of these in action.

  2. Interesting I was thinking about that movie yesterday. Watched it years ago. Going to get it out this weekend.
