Ralph Lauren's Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic

The Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic is the epitomy of beautiful motoring. I first became aware of them on 2007 when one was found in a New York basement. They are a fascinating car and their owners were just as fascinating. Well worth googling. The one above is Ralph Lauren's. Lauren is an avid car nut and has some amazing vehicles. Read this interview with him.

1967 Ferrari 330 P4

Thanks to Chris at for the heads up about this perfect blend of beauty and power, a 1967 Ferrari 330 P4. This piece of history is going to be auctioned by RM Auctions. You can about it on Autoblog. This very car won at Monza and claimed third at Le Mans, where it was piloted by Lorenzo Bandini and Willy Mairesse. Nice to have a New Zealand connection with this car as Chris Amon and Jackie Stewart drove it at Brands Hatch.

Jaguar Select Edition E-Type

The E Type Jaguar is often regarded as the most beautiful car ever built. This car is one of two built by Massachusetts-based Donovan Motorcar Services for Jaguar North America in 2003. They teamed up to build the two race cars as 400-horsepower high-speed billboards for Jaguar's award-winning Select Edition Certified Pre-Owned vehicle program. Nice.

German AC Cobra best version of all time?

I like a good AC Cobra and this is one of the best I have seen. Being built by Germans, Gullwing GmbH, it will be perfect but maybe not as raw as an original.

Carroll Shelby would like this I'm sure. The perfect Cobra?
